Canyons is the largest of three alpine ski resorts in Park City.  Canyons is located  four miles from downtown Park City, and only half an hour from Salt Lake City.  With 19 chairlifts and over 4,000 acres of skiable terrain, Canyons is the largest ski resort in all of  Utah. In 2008, a 20 million gallon snow-making pond and 2 new high speed quads were installed to help upgrade the park.
